What actually happens at Lego Club?

Updated: Feb 16, 2020

If you are wondering what Lego club involves then wonder no longer.

1. Lego club is drop in. We start at 2pm and tidy up at 4pm, so pop along any time in between.

2. You can build whatever you like. We don't do themes or set building, you choose what you build and how. (We occasionally run a special session for example “Future Build” but we advertise this in advance)

3. It's not just for the kids. You can build too, or you can leave them to it and enjoy a cup of tea, have a read, use the computers or have a chat.

4. It's not just Lego. We have Duplo and large Mega Blocks for the little ones. We also have a tablet to create stop motion animation and lots of Lego related books and magazines.

5. Have I mentioned we have tea?

6. Everyone is welcome. Babies, toddlers, under 10s, over 10s, teens, young adults, mums, dads, nans, grans, granddad's, aunts, uncles and everyone in between or round about.

7. There is no set charge for Lego club. We run purely on donations, we suggest minimum of £1 per person, but if you can't donate every time please do still come. We use the money donated to buy more Lego, for refreshments, to donate towards the library, we also occasionally make a donation to a local charity that we might have been supporting like Burnage Foodbank.

8. Did I mention tea? Oh and biscuits to dip in the tea of course (or coffee if you must :)).

So, I hope to see you at Lego club very soon and if you have any questions please do ask.
